Dominic LoRiggio is a Professional Craps player and ranks as the 7th best gambler in the world. He is known as ‘The Dominator’ or ‘The Man with the Golden Arm’.
He uses a method called “Dice Control “which means that if you release the Dice in a certain way, you can turn the odds in your favour. The advantage gained is similar to card-counting in the game of Blackjack.
The Early Years
Little is known about LoRiggio’s early years, except that he was born in the USA in the 1950s where he did his studies. He was an Office Clerk for several years until he found an interest in the game of Craps. Whilst studying, he taught himself how to play Craps.
Techniques of Dice Roll
LoRiggio strongly believed that by using various dice throwing techniques, he could drop out various combinations. He changed hand movements, throwing movements and other parameters to get the desired result he wanted, to change the odds in his favour. Moreover, he used controlled shooting which he also taught to his friend Frank Skoblete.
Playing Craps in Vegas
LoRiggio and Skoblete played craps at the various casino in Las Vegas, until casino management banned them from their establishments.
However, they did manage to amass some large sums of money together before the ban.
Where is Dominic LoRiggio Now?
Nowadays LoRiggio has a website called goldentouchcraps.com where he promotes a ‘Golden Touch Craps Training DVD.’ He also does writing for gaming magazines, various training seminars and private lessons for people wanting to learn Dice-Control.
The Dominator’s life story was told on The History Channel show “The Dice Dominator” which formed part of the Breaking Vegas series.
In recent years LoRiggio was on The National Geographic channel where he demonstrated his dice control rolling techniques.
